Little Elm has experienced the seventh fastest population growth rate in the Dallas Fort Worth area over the past three years. It also has the twenty-foutth lowest overall crime rate of all Dallas suburbs. Little Elm is located in central west Denton County, approximately 36 miles north of downtown Dallas and 48 miles northeast of downtown Fort Worth.
